Ajay Verma receives postdoctoral trainee award for talk at the Udall Centers for Excellence Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Udall Center's brings together researchers from the nine Udall Centers to present their work to leading experts in the fields of Parkinson's disease research. Dr. Verma presented his talk remotely focusing on the research undertaken on Dr. Luke Johnson's R01 "The effects of parkinsonism and deep brain stimulation on basal ganglia-thalamocortical circuitry during sleep-wake behavior." The fellowship recognizes his work as outstanding from the many fields gathered at the Annual Meeting including UMN's circuit-based DBS approach. Nice work Dr. Verma!
